TITLE: COST ACCOUNTANT

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Joins specialty manufacturing and assembly company to perform analytical study of all costs accruing to the business, factor by factor, throughout an international and local supply chain. Based on logistics data, including local inventory, prepares recommendations to achieve cost efficiency and greater profits. Assists ownership in evaluating potential of new or modified product introductions. Solicits and incorporates demand information from B2B partners. Applies statistical and financial analysis to process-centered projects to enable better Management Information. Prepares cost analysis of management growth initiatives, such as new products, expansion of manufacturing capabilities, larger sales platforms, and others of interest to ownership. Assists in developing, and uses, standard formats for regular and special accounting reports for management use. From time to time, may be tasked with contractual liaison responsibilities with overseas and U.S. suppliers of parts and components.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

EDUCATION: BACHELORS in Business Administration, OR Accounting

 

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience in Job Offered as COST ACCOUNTANT, OR Financial Analyst (as alternative occupation)
