MEET THE BEE BEE DEE.
An analog delay designed to do everything you love about classic echoes,
and everything you didn't know an analog delay could do.
At its core are two bucket brigade chips delivering warm, rich, musical repeats with unmistakable character.
But behind that analog path is a smart control system, a digital engine that lets you bend time, shift pitch, and move your sound in ways no vintage circuit ever could.
What does it sound like?

UNIQUE TONE
No other BBD delay lets you shape tone like this.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Is it true bypass or buffered?
The BEE BEE DEE is buffered bypass, ensuring consistent tone and enabling trails when the pedal is turned off.
How much delay time is there?
It delivers 600ms of clean analog delay, but with tap tempo, you can stretch it up to 2 seconds - pushing into wild, degraded territory.
Can I turn modulation on and off while playing?
Yes. Use the MOD position on the performance switch. You can latch modulation on/off or momentarily engage it, depending on how you step. Great for real-time contrast between dry delay and modulated textures.
Does it have presets?
No traditional presets. But you can create contrast and recall options live:
- Use 2x as a second delay time.
- Use MOD to toggle between dry and modulated delay settings — like switching between two worlds with a footswitch.
Can I use it with bass, synths and drums?
Yes! The BEE BEE DEE works great with bass and synths.
While it’s not optimized for line level, if you find the right input volume, it will perform beautifully.
Just keep in mind: this may shift the MIX control balance, so tweak it to taste for the right blend of dry and delayed signal.
Is it stereo?
Only if you buy two.
How does the Tone Control works?
There are two signals - one low-pass, one high-pass - blended by the Tone knob.
They were carefully tuned for at noon to bee flat. Turn left for darker, smoother repeats.
Turn right for brighter, noisier, characterful echoes.
It’s the only BBD delay that goes both ways (LP and HP).
Can I re-sync the modulation LFO?
Yes. Just tap once in TAP setting to restart the LFO cycle and re-sync it to your playing or click track.
How does the 2X function works?
It doubles the delay speed, pitches everything up an octave, and returns when you let go.
Tap for latch. Hold for momentary. It's a hint of PITCH mode but on demand available on any mode.
What's the current draw?
The BEE BEE DEE draws 200mA of current. It's actually lower than that but go with 200 to bee safe.
